Ohio State University or University of Wisconsin -Madison?
I have been accepted to both Ohio State and Wisconsin Madison, but I am not sure which is a better one for Business - Finance and Economics. Which university would the employers prefer? Which is more recommended? Any comments?
Ohio State is great and if you are in the honors program, Ohio State will be manageable. Students register for classes in this order: first honors seniors, then honors juniors, then honors soph, then honors freshmen, then seniors, then juniors, then soph, then freshmen. Every year about 6000 new freshmen come in and about 1000 of them are in the honors program. Ohio State is huge. It can be hard to graduate in 4 years. Some people (especially go-getters and sports fans) love it, but it is easy to get lost there if you are not outgoing.
Wisconsin Madison is a more manageable size for everyone. More uniformly liberal in its politics. Generally colder weather. Most people who go there love it.
For what its worth, both of these schools are good party schools.
